Installation
Before continuing with this section of the setup, please review and confirm the following points: The software required for the Integral Accounting Enterprise System to operate was properly installed and tested prior to Integral Accounting Enterprise installation The Database Required for the Integral Accounting Enterprise to operate was properly installed and tested prior to the Integral Accounting Enterprise Installation The Integral Accounting Enterprise Package was installed following the instructions to it's default location. The Integral Accounting Enterprise system was signed into and is ready
to receive data. Following is a review of the necessary steps to prepare Integral Accounting Enterprise for receiving data and for regular use. The steps are presented in two separate sections. The first section is Technical Configuration which includes an overview of the tasks required by the System Administrator to prepare the system for use. The second section, the End User Configuration section, includes an overview of the tasks to be completed by both the System Administrator and the company or client’s accounting representative (this could be the Controller, Company’s CPA, Business Manager, or person authorized to set up the accounting system) to prepare the system for use. The following procedures are only guidelines to get you started in the right direction. There may be more or different tasks required depending upon your use of the software, and the Company or Client’s requirements. These procedures take into account that you already have a very good grasp of what your company or client’s requirements are before proceeding with setting up the system. For example, if you know that there are going to be custom changes and modifications, you are aware of this and can approach the following steps with those changes in mind. Basically, at this point you should know what your company and/or client needs from the Integral Accounting Enterprise system, what changes they require, and are prepared to go from there.
